It is currently not possible to make donations to charities in Big Give campaigns directly from a CAF account.
We have worked out a process with CAF for CAF Charitable Trust holders, where CAF can use their Donation Funds account to make a donation on your behalf.
Please contact your account manager as soon as possible to organise a donation to a charity through a Big Give campaign. This process takes longer due to the bank processing times.
Unfortunately this service is not available to those who have a cash-only charity account with CAF.
Such donors will need to make donations through our existing donation routes – credit card, Pay by Bank or a Donation Funds account.
If you are a user of a UK-based Donor Advised Fund (DAF), such as Prism The Gift Fund, it may be possible for them to make a donation to a charity in a Big Give campaign on your behalf. Please contact your account manager, who should be able to make donations for you using this service.
Please note that due to increased processing times, instructions to your DAF should be made as early as possible to avoid missing the campaign deadline.
