Big Give collects information from donors so that we can process donations, provide donation confirmations and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
The charity you donate to may receive information connected with your donation where this is required to administer the donation or where you have agreed for information to be shared.
We ask ask all donors their names and this will be shared with charities. Charities will be able to see your name but they can only contact via email if you have opted-in to receiving to further communications from them. We will also share your address with charities only if you have declared your donation as Gift Aid eligible, so charities can claim Gift Aid on your donation.
Big Give will need to retain information about the transaction for payment processing, fraud prevention, Gift Aid or other legal requirements. However we will not share your details with other third parties.
We never publicly display the names of donors anywhere on our site or on campaign pages.
