Yes. If you accidentally selected the wrong tip amount when making your donation, please contact Big Give Support as soon as possible.
The tip is a voluntary contribution that supports Big Give rather than the charity receiving your main donation.
Please provide:
- the email address used for the donation
- the charity or campaign you donated to
- the date of the donation
- the donation amount
- the tip amount.
We can then locate the transaction and confirm whether the tip can be refunded.
Once a refund has been processed, it may take several working days to appear in your account. The exact timing will depend on your bank or card provider.
Refunding the tip does not normally require the charitable donation itself to be refunded.
