How is Pay by Bank different to Donation Funds?

Donation Funds is our way of supporting BACS donations. Donation Funds requires donors to create a donor account with Big Give and transfers their funds to the donor account before they can make their donation to a campaign. Pay By Bank does not require a donor account and a pre-transfer of funds. The donation with Pay By Bank is made immediately.

Donors should use the Donation Funds option if they are donating more than £10,000 using their bank account or if their bank requires dual approval for transferring funds.
