You do not pay your pledge immediately after submitting the pledge form. Completing a pledge form is a promise to provide funding to the charity if the campaign goes ahead.
If the charity participates in the campaign, your pledge will form part of the match funding available to encourage donations during the campaign.
When do I pay my pledge?
After the campaign has finished, the charity will contact you directly to arrange payment.
The pledge should be paid directly to the charity rather than through the Big Give donation platform.
The charity will then upload proof that the pledge has been received so Big Give can complete its checks.
Please do not make your pledge payment as an online donation during the live campaign.
