Big Give are excited to launch The Big Photo Challenge.
The competition is open to all UK-registered charities with a Charity Commission number or charities with tax-exempt status. We’re looking for engaging and positive photos which best demonstrate your charitable impact. A selection of images submitted will be used in Big Give’s marketing materials to help raise awareness of the broad array of amazing charities and causes involved in our match funding campaigns.
What is considered ‘charitable impact’?
We’re leaving this down to you to decide! However, charities should consider showcasing images that document key projects and areas they work on. Images could include staff, beneficiaries or areas where their charity has been involved in making an impact.
Entry Conditions
It’s completely free to enter the challenge. Only 1 submission of up to 3 photos per charity will be accepted. Full entry terms and conditions can be found here.
Shortlisting and winners
The awards panel will choose up to 10 charities to be shortlisted, and these charities will be showcased across social media and in our awards blog.
For the winners, Big Give’s Anchor Match Fund will be dishing away a grand total of £3500!
- The first-place winner will be awarded £2000.
- The second-place winner will be awarded £1000.
- The third-place winner will be awarded £500.
The three winning charities can decide if the prize money is given directly to their charity or allocated as match funding in any Big Give campaign ending by 31st July 2024. *For the latter, charities will receive the full match funding award, regardless of if it’s matched in online donations or not.
What is the Big Give Anchor Match Fund?
Big Give relies on voluntary tips to cover running and managing match funding campaigns. As a charity ourselves, we don’t charge our partners for using our platform, so we’re incredibly grateful to people who choose to leave a voluntary tip.
Now, thanks to the generosity of the public, tips are going further than ever. For the first time at Big Give, we’re able to use those tips to keep paying it forward and multiply even more generosity by helping charities launch their own match funding campaigns with our own funds.
