The Summer Give Awards is a chance for the Big Give to recognise the campaign’s most successful participating charities. Winning charities will be awarded cash prizes of £1,000 and upwards with charities judged by representatives of The Childhood Trust. Charities will be judged on the following criteria:
- How much they have exceeded their Summer Give fundraising target: the more charities raise above their target, the more chance they have of winning an award.
- How they engaged with their supporters in the campaign: we’re looking for examples of great planning, execution and learning to be used as a showcase to other charities.
- Creative marketing approaches: did the charity market the Summer Give in a new, different or innovative way?
There will be a special award for the most original solution to meeting the needs of children and young people this summer.
