Since theBigGive.org.uk ran its first match funding campaign in 2008, it has gone on to raise over £112m for thousands of different charities. We are now offering charities the opportunity to run their own match funding campaign on theBigGive.org.uk.

Running a match funding campaign is a great way to engage your supporters, incentivising more people to give and people to give more to your cause.

How it works

Running a match funding campaign means donations to your charity made on theBigGive.org.uk will be doubled over a specific period or whilst match funds last.

You will need to source the match funding – for example, from a major supporter keen to leverage the value of their gift. As it’s your campaign, you can decide the rules, the timing, the nature of the appeal and will be responsible for promoting it to your supporters. The Big Give provides the platform and will help you get the campaign up and running on theBigGive.org.uk.

The advantage of using the Big Give platform
