After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to pause the Kind²Mind campaign for 2025. This means there will not be a Kind²Mind campaign this year as we review and reassess for 2026.
When launching and running a match funding campaign, we always consider three key factors:
- Sector need – Are there similar opportunities already available to charities?
- Big Give’s capacity – As a small but dedicated team of 10, do we have the resources to deliver the campaign & support you deserve?
- Funding & support – Can we secure sufficient funding and partnerships to make the campaign successful?
Unfortunately, securing the necessary funding and support for Kind²Mind has proved especially challenging this year. Without the confidence that we can deliver the campaign, we feel that pausing is the most responsible decision.
We know this may be disappointing, but we want to assure you that our commitment to supporting you and your work remains as strong as ever. We are actively exploring ways to ensure we can continue Kind²Mind or provide alternative match funding opportunities for the sector. In the meantime, we encourage you to consider the following match funding campaigns:
Champions for Children by The Childhood Trust
Campaign Dates: 3rd – 17th June 2025
Match funding model: Pledge
Overview: A fourteen-day (or 2 week) online match funding campaign providing unrestricted funding to charities working to alleviate the impact of poverty on children across London. Applications are open now until the 7th of February 2025.
Women and Girls Match Fund
Campaign Dates: 8th – 15th October 2025 (#DayOfTheGirl)
Match funding model: 1:1
Overview: A seven-day online match funding campaign working with exceptional charities dedicated to serving the women and girls in our communities, fostering a future where every individual can thrive without limitations. Applications open on the 7th of March 2025.
Christmas Challenge
Campaign Dates: 2nd – 9th December 2025 (#GivingTuesday)
Match funding model: Pledge
Overview: Our flagship seven-day online match funding campaign supporting a diverse array of charities working across all charitable sectors within the UK and overseas. Applications open on the 12th of May 2025.
Anchor Match Fund
Campaign Dates: Apply anytime
Match funding model: Pledge
Overview: Thanks to the kindness of supporters, we have been able to use additional funds raised from our tips to provide match funding to our amazing array of charity partners. We’re supporting charities wanting to run their own campaign on Big Give.
