Big Give is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.
The website endeavours to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more usable for everyone.
We follow W3C standards recommendations for HTML and CSS and aim to make the web site work as widely as possible. We are working on expanding and detailing our browser support and will add more detail of our current cross-browser testing to this page later in 2025.
We use manual and automated testing to try to ensure our most important pages stay accessible, with a particular focus on the pages needed to complete a donation.
We are always looking out for other ideas and opportunities to improve further. If you have any difficulty accessing the web site, please email us and we will investigate as soon as possible.
